Emerging stars like Somdev Devvarman, Rohan Bopanna, Ramkumar Ramnanathan with aces Vijay Amritraj, Leander Paes, Sania Mirza have helped India gain its much deserved recognition on global Tennis platforms.
Tennis is steadily paving its way as one of the primary options for kids while selecting their sporting careers. The constantly rising inclination towards this beautiful sport has also managed to draw government’s attention as they have increased the budget allocation for Tennis’s progress by nearly 30%. So till the time our media gets done covering the glitz and glamour of “Paparazzi” Cricket, we would have to wait to witness an Indian holding a Single’s Grand Slam title.
